Our client is a dynamic and innovative manufacturer of a pioneering range of infection prevention products. Due to strong and consistent year-on-year growth, the organisation is accelerating its plans across various departments. We have been instructed to identify and recruit for a Software Engineer/ Project Manager Software. The role will fully focus on the responsibility for Software development and the project management of the delivery of software packages.

The role will involve the development and implantation of strategy in regards to Software and Firmware and will require collaboration and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also involve coaching and development of the Category team ensuring the implementation of best working practice in regards to the delivery of various software related projects.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of software and software verification and validation
• Delivery of testing on manufactured products related to software
• Liaise with clients and external parties in relations to technical matters
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and participate in cross-functional development projects
• Educate and train internally on product design

Key Requirements will include:

• Degree educated within engineering or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relating to medical devices ( experience with ISO62304 is beneficial)
• Minimum 5 years of experience within R&D in medical devices or similar
• Proven experience in the management of multifaceted projects
• Experience in Linux, Android and Bluetooth connected products
• Performance-driven and result-oriented mindset
• Good knowledge of IP generation
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
