Our client is a medical device company that supports all key Neurosurgery centres in the UK. A company with decades of history of providing high-quality surgical products and reliable service to both the NHS and private healthcare.

The organisation is experiencing peaking customer demand, and currently looking to make a key addition to its teams through the hiring of an experienced Clinical Sales Specialist for their Neurosurgical team covering the Scotland region.

The candidates must have sales experience in Neurosurgery, Spine, ENT, Head and Neck and/ or Other complex or Technical surgery areas.

Key Responsibilities for the position will include:

  • Collaborate effectively with sales teams through on-site product demonstration and remote presentation as required
  • Support clinicians throughout the patient pathway; peri-operative and post-op
  • Provide and continuously improve product education and training programs for existing as well as new customers, arranging training with regularity
  • Monitoring competitor data and opportunities
  • Be a product expert to ensure the highest confidence of customer knowledge/usage
  • Ensure presence at relevant congresses/exhibitions to further promote education around the product value proposition


In order to be considered for this position candidates must have:

  • Proven successful track record of  at least 5 years in medical devices sales within a surgical field. Ideally, within complex or technical device areas requiring support to surgeons.
  • For this role the candidates must have extensive sales experience in at least one of the following fields:

- Neurosurgery

- Spine

- ENT

- Head and Neck

- Other complex or Technical surgery areas

  • Good working knowledge of the surgical environment and current market trends and opportunities
  • Education to Bachelor degree level or equivalent qualification within a related field
  • Drive and willingness to travel extensively and work autonomously
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy job role
  • Full license to drive in the UK
