Our client is a market-leading medical devices company. The business is currently undergoing significant and sustained global growth with movement into new regional markets. In connection with this ongoing development, the business has identified a strategic requirement for a highly experienced Clinical Specialist on a Freelance day rate Consultancy contract.

The North region of the UK includes Liverpool, Cheshire, Manchester, Newcastle, York.

Key Responsibilities for the position will include:

• Collaborate effectively with sales teams through on-site product demonstration and remote presentation as required
• Support clinicians throughout the patient pathway; peri-operative and post-op
• Provide and continuously improve product education and training programs for existing as well as new customers, arranging training with regularity
• Monitoring competitor data and opportunities
• Be a product expert to ensure the highest confidence of customer knowledge/usage
• Ensure presence at relevant congresses/exhibitions to further promote education around the product value proposition

In order to be considered for this position candidates must have:

• Proven successful track record in medical devices sales within the surgical field. Ideally, within complex or technical device areas requiring support to surgeons.
• Good working knowledge of the surgical environment and current market trends and opportunities
• Education to Bachelor degree level or equivalent qualification within a related field
• Drive and willingness to travel extensively and work autonomously
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy job role
